Dr. Robert Goerss joined Tomasino Goerss Vision Source upon graduation from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry in 2001 and quickly built a successful practice. Dr. Goerss became a full partner with Dr. Tomasino in January 2009 and the practice became Iverson-Tomasino-Goerss Eyecare Associates. Clinical experience includes rotations at both the John Cochran and Jefferson Barracks VA hospitals, assisting with the eyecare needs of the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Blues, and developing skills in fitting specialty contact lenses and focusing on the latest technology in the treatment of ocular disease. He is a Past-President of the St. Louis Optometric Society and is an active member of the Missouri Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Dr. Goerss has presented the latest ophthalmic technology on behalf of Alcon Laboratories, Ciba Vision, and Vistakon. He was given the 2004 Young Optometrist Of The Year Award by the Missouri Optometric Association, and the Optometrist of the Year Award by the St. Louis Optometric Society in 2011.

Dr. Jacqueline Ladd is an O’Fallon resident who graduated with honors from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry in 2013. Her areas of interest include the diagnosis and management of ocular disease and the fitting of specialty contact lenses. These interests were reinforced through her clinical rotations at the Kansas City VA hospital, Chickasaw Nation Indian Health Service hospital, and Galanis Cataract and Laser Eye Center. Among other conditions, these clinical rotations provided her with extensive training in the management of diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. In addition to her passion for ocular disease, Dr. Ladd also strives to stay on the cutting edge of contact lens technology. She regularly attends specialty lens symposiums and was the recipient of the UMSL faculty award for clinical skills in the area of contact lenses. Dr. Ladd also received the Vision Service Plan Scholarship for Academic Excellence and was chosen as the sole member of her class to earn the Missouri Optometric Association’s Clinical Optometry Award. Dr. Ladd was also a national winner for the Project Foresight Business Plan scholarship and strongly believes that private-practice optometry facilitates the best overall care for her patients. Dr. Ladd joined the practice in 2013 and enjoys serving and growing with the community of O’Fallon.

Dr. Sigmund is a graduate of Saint Louis University where he graduated with a degree in Biology. He graduated from UMSL College of Optometry and joined Tomasino Goerss Vision Source upon graduation. During his time at UMSL, Dr. Sigmund served as a teaching assistant and student ambassador, demonstrating his passion for furthering education in the field of optometry. He also received the Academic Mentoring and Student Ambassador awards upon graduation in recognition of these services to his community. While a student, he served as vice president of UMSL’s chapter of the American Optometric Student Association, Secretary of Student Volunteers for Optometric Services to Humanity, and Volunteer Coordinator for the National Optometric Student Association. He gained clinical experience through externships at Saint Louis University Hospital, Hill Vision Services, and Koetting Eye Center. Dr. Sigmund was born and raised in St. Paul, Missouri and is passionate about giving back to the community that helped raise him. Dr. Sigmund’s areas of interest include Myopia Management, Specialty Contact Lenses, Dry eye, Ocular disease, and pediatric eye care.
